Abstract submission
Notifications regarding acceptance or rejection of submitted abstracts will be available in June. If the abstract is accepted for presentation as an electronic poster, the presenter or one of the co-authors must register for BSIR 2024. If the abstract is accepted for oral presentation, the presenting author must register for BSIR 2024 and give the presentation there. Costs associated with the submission and presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the presenter.

Poster Awards
The winners of the Poster Awards will be selected by the BSIR Scientific Programme Committee
All winners of poster awards will
- receive an invitation to present their poster in the Poster Prizes session at BSIR 2024
- receive a certificate
- receive a prize – a £50 Amazon Voucher
Best Scientific Paper Presentation Awards
The best scientific paper presenters will be selected during BSIR 2024. Presenters can win in the following categories:
- Best Overall Presentation
- Best Trainee Presentation
- Best Juniors Presentation
- Robert Bardsley Award
The winners will
- receive a certificate
- receive a prize – of up to £750 reimbursement of expenses for attendance at an IR meeting, subject to BSIR approval.
Publication in CVIR

Abstract types
Scientific abstract
Description
Reporting about research projects, studies, trials, etc. Prospective studies will be rated higher than retrospective, comparative higher than single-arm, multi-centre higher than single centre.

Oral scientific paper presentation or electronic poster. Submitters may indicate their preferred presentation format. The final decision whether an abstract is accepted for oral presentation or as an electronic poster is up to the Scientific Programme Committee.

Reviewing and teaching a topic; by means of e.g., literature review, pictorial essay, describing a series of cases of a particular finding or procedure.

Description
